Yes! You’re welcome to drive the camper van all over Europe. But please let me know your travel plans in advance. I am happy to help planning.

The back bench in Fred can be converted into a comfortable bed, providing a cozy sleeping space. And you can enjoy stargazing through the roof window. In addition, I can provide an extra mattress that goes on top of the driver seat and co-driver bench. A child can sleep there. Generally, 3 people can travel in Fred. There are 3 seat belts.

Yes, Fred includes an outdoor shower and a portable toilet to cover all your sanitary needs. There is also a shower cabin in Fred (looks like a tent) and works well if you park somewhere and you need some privacy. The shower has a special feature: It allows you to enjoy the health benefits of cold water. The toilet can only be used for small business. Large business can never be cleaned out of it fully. You can optionally buy the toilet and then do with it what you want. For more details, check out the videos on the Fred Manual page.

The van is located in Barcelona. I am pretty flexible with arranging pick-up and drop-off locations. Meeting at or around the Barcelona Airport is a popular option. We usually select a spacious parking, and we take our time during the check-in to remove all doubts.

You must be 24 years or older and have the licence B for 2 years or longer.

Yes! The renting platform offers a fully comprehensive insurance. During the booking process you can choose between a basic insurance (€1500 excess) or a premium insurance package (€500 excess). Before the check-in, I will ask you to transfer a security deposit €1000. In case of any damage or loss, the value will be subtracted from the deposit.

I understand that plans can change! If you need to cancel your booking, please refer to the cancellation policy of the platform.

Your rental includes 24/7 roadside assistance for peace of mind during your travels. The necessary contact numbers, guides and papers are in the glove compartment of Fred. Please take a look at the Fred Manual page for more details.

I ask that you return the camper van in basic clean conditions, with a full Diesel tank, clean dishes, trash removed, and toilet emptied. An extra cleaning fee may apply if the van is returned excessively dirty.

Absolutely! Fred is equipped with a kitchen that includes a fridge, gas stove, sink, pots, pans, plates, cutlery, cups, cafetiere and all necessary utensils, allowing you to prepare delicious meals on the go.

Fred has a 40 liter fresh water tank. The water refill inlet is on the left-hand side in the back. Please check out the video about Fred's water system. I recommend to plan the water refill stops on your trip. This can be quite essential. Usually you can refill at campsites, gas stations or use the park4night app for advice. Welcome to vanlife.
